Why Suvidha

Microfinance has grown impressively enough over the recent years and hasattracted several stakeholders : microfinance entrepreneurs, NGOs, bankers, investors, pools of private capital, and of course, regulators. Partly driven by humanitarian concerns and partly tempted by opportunities of growth and profits, investors from different corners of the World have set their eyes on microfinance.

While the microfinance movement arguably started from Eastern part of the Indian sub-continent, today, it is a global affair. In terms of products too, microfinance is not limited to credit :  comprehensive services of financial inclusion are today being talked about.

Amidst rapid development, microfinance institutions need several services: professional assistance to institutionalize and grow, develop organizations and capabilities, and move along the exponential growth curve. Investors and financiers to microfinance also need services of appraisal, rating and analysis of prospective microfinance players. Private capital wanting to invest in microfinance likewise needs services of spotting bright stars and nurturing them through the growth path.

In short, multifarious services are needed by the microfinance sector.

Suvidha is our attempt to contribute to the cause of spreading financial inclusion.

Suvidha, is an entity dedicated to the cause of microfinance. Suvidha aims at providing a forum bringing forth and resolving issues concerning development of microfinance institutions.
